Forgive me. I'm one of those bimmerheads that first cried foul at the extra large grille on the G80 M3 and now I have a number one spot specced to my wishes. Looking forward to taking delivery of a SPY M3 Manual in January. hoping the wild color goes well with the pronounced noggin on this car. i think it will look cool.

Still bummed we can't do european delivery anymore. oh well. lets see how this new M3 does on the track!

anyone want to do a delivery tour in Socal/Norcal this winter? I'll line up the tracks/roads/events.

only choices are silverstone or black for the launch cars. i'm going with silverstone.

last time I checked it was January production I believe, so may not see it till March. I may take the first M4 we get also not sure yet. But I think the M3/4 are going to be awesome, the look will grow on us and will be a super fun fast car

I do think the G80 does not look bad and will grow on us, especially after the awesome performance.

You can make some assumptions but you aren't gonna know for sure till at least 9/23..... this is why they are HEA cars

Extended shadow line is black mirrors, grill, and likely black items on the rear, black badges, and black exhaust tips

Unlikely. BMW has been de-incentivizing the Euro Delivery Program for the last several years, no surprise that the numbers were declining as well. COVID-19 was the final nail in the coffin. BMW really wants you to just go to your dealer and lease a vehicle off the lot, preferably an X model, which are made here (except for the X1).

My wife and I are fortunate to have done three of them, in 2011, 2016, and 2018. Euro Delivery is one of the things that attracted us to BMW when we bought my wife's previous 2011 335is Coupe, it was kind of like icing on the cake. We were firm believers that Euro Delivery is the only way to buy a new BMW. I have friends that have done Euro Delivery more than six times and we're all in a quandary about what we're going to do if/when we buy our next new BMW. That said, I sincerely hope that BMW does bring back Euro Delivery for U.S. customers, but I'm not planning on it or holding my breath.

Personally I'd even be willing to pay extra for it. My lease is up next summer, and if they don't bring it back I will very much consider the C63s, and I don't even care for coupes. The other downside with the Merc is that if you lease the car can only stay in Europe for one month.

So are you ED'ing the M3? I assume not as it's no longer possible so really you just changed order from M2 to new M3. ED doesn't seem part of the equation but I'm sure I'm missing something as it's never been possible for the U.K.

I had euro delivery scheduled on an M2C for 9/11/20. Only reason I wanted the car was for one last ED trip. Exhausted every plan to pick up the car so passed on it. Was offered first G80 because of it but of course no ED. I have since swapped my spot for the first non-HEA car as the color couldn’t be changed to SPY from IOMG. It’s still a December build. Planning on going with YMB interior and the M bucket seats for my build.

I'm in the same boat, but I decided to keep the M2C and do PCD. I'd definitely have gone G80 over G82 and IOMG over any other color. Only difference is I'd have gone brown/orange seats. Are you sticking with the 6MT for the G80?

yep 6MT. oh you are keeping the M2C. nice call! I am replacing the family car F80 M3 so the 4-doors is what i need for me. someone already got my M2C inbound.
