Lots of roll and bounce. Suspension looks sloppy.

It might be the driver doing specific types of testing, but this footage does not make the car look composed at all. In fact if you look at how the car reacts to bumps and transitions, it almost look like the car is setup way soft.

Difficult making a car that needs to cater to the luxury comfort enthusiasts but claim to not lose the track readiness of the M cars of yore.

Pretty sure those were carbon ceramics. Doubt it's smaller than the M2C brakes.

Just looked it up, again, the standard G80 brakes are smaller than the M2C and the rear is a single piston floating brake, yikes .

It's finally nice to see the M4 in action unmasked. Looks like it drives and handles like a beast.

The M3 has much more aggressive rear wheel arches which looks a lot nicer that the ones on the M4, not sure why BMW designed the two differently, that was a mistake?! Also the grill is what it is, but the hood doesn't make sense and the fake side vents just doesn't tie into each other. Actually I think the M3 looks nicer but I'm strictly an M4, M3 Touring, X4M fan.

It's a shame that BMW made my favorite car finally with M xDrive fuggly 🤓.

Looks better than expected but still can't understand why the body shape is such a departure from the F82 which was an awesome looking car. In any case it's just too big, my only hope is the G87 M2 which could be the Goldilocks IF Bmw can just get that one right!

Standard brakes have always been like that. Even on the outgoing M3/4. The M2C got the carbon ceramic calipers just without the pads and rotors. That's why they're silver and not gold and 6 pot instead of 4. The CC upgrade on the new M3/4 should be a 6 pot as well.

that exhaust note is as boring as it gets... saw a 2021 m sport 4 series at the dealer the other day... nothing about the car's exterior looked good.

The EU is super lucky it is mandatory for the rectangular, thin front plate. Almost had me pinching myself thinking it was a kidney grille... and the door panel/ rear qtr look very "flat"

The car do look like it has a softer suspension setting than footage of some of the other test cars has shown.

Could perhaps be due to testing being done in comfort mode on the ddc?

As does the AMG GT-R etc etc... Lots of high end sports cars has these rear brake calipers now.

Easiest option in brake caliper for electric e-brake.
