Those of us on this forum are the OG BMW fans. We remember how visceral and enjoyable they were to drive, we remember and appreciate their clean timeless styling, we go to local car events and take the long way home for fun. Unfortunately in the realm of this highly globalized and social media-influenced society we are simply viewed as old-fashioned.

Don't know what everyone's complaining about. BMWs have looked like this forever:

I'm gonna keep hope alive and pray I like the G80 in person... I know I'll love everything performance wise but in my opinion if you pay a certain premium for a vehicle it should look good as well.

F8x followed by E92 followed by E46 are my top 3 M3/M4s
Each M3/M4 was sexier than the one before. F8x cars will likely be future classics. I have not met a single person that did not like the design of the car. Check the F8x launch threads, full of people drooling over them. While the new G8x cars look aggressive, the front bumper is iffy for me. I think we are going to need an aftermarket solution, or that we'll just have to wait for the LCIs. Long live the F8x. BMW nailed everything with the F8x models.

It does, but it's usually not on something as controversial. With the F3x and F8x, it was about the kidney grilles meeting the lights and the hood cutoff line. This....this is something entirely different.

Honestly I didn't think it could get worse than what we saw before. this is the ugliest BMW front end ever to me. Not one single section looks well thought out.

Yeah I'd like to listen to the design meetings in which they approved that hood...

Convinced the new M4 will look amazing. I've had an adverse reaction to any new change in the BMW lineup. But I know this doesn't look great now but I think it will make complete sense once we have a chance to take it in.

Unfortunately no. This implies that this car is something we must take or have or coexist with.
In this case people that don't like it will stop at the denial stage and not buy it and will never have to see it in their garage. No need to go through all that. We should all buy cars that doesn't force us to go through grief processes. |

Its getting really depressing to see one of my favorite automakers constantly disappoint me.
