Spacers and Springs to Lower

Any advice on lowering a G80?
Which springs to purchase to lower so it reduces the gap between fender and tyre to one finger gap only

There's quite a few options for both springs/spacers depending on your cars setup and your budget:

Spacers: If you're running OEM 19/20 staggered wheels/tires setup, you will need a different setup depending on what tires you have:
- If you have Michelins: 15mm Front / 12mm or 13mm Rear would give you an aggressive look and make them look flush with the fenders
- If you have Pirellis: 12mm Front / 12mm Rear is a safe bet on these, if you go beyond that, you will get some rubbing on the front because these tires have slightly thicker sidewalls.
- Brands like Burger Tuning, Macht Schnell, Future Classics are widely used by members here, you can shop around to find one that fits your budget.

Springs: There's also a few options for springs depending on your budget:
- Static springs - Will close out the wheel gap nicely, but offers no height adjustment after you install it. These are the cheaper option. (From what I've seen, it appears that cars with these installed usually still have a rake (the front of the car has a slightly bigger gap compared to the rear), you can ask your mechanic/installer to cut the springs to make them equal on both front/rear, but not everyone is comfortable doing that).
- Height adjustment springs - Will drop your car to your desired height and offers you the flexibility to adjust it if you feel like it's too low or too high, but these are slightly more expensive.

Pretty good summary of Springs and HAS.

Purchased Future Classic pack from IND is excellent, as the pack contains everything required and the quality of 100%.

I went with F15/R12 and have Michelins. This was after loads of research.

I do not plan to lower the car at this stage.

They are going on next week.

Thanks for the good summary.

Is there any outlook if/when we can purchase the MP suspension? Which I think should reduce the height by 3/4 inch, 20mm?

Confirm that the 15F/12R spacers fit perfectly with Michelin. I have not lowered at this stage, but zero rubbing.
