DuetscheMarks 2022 Gathering

Attended the 10th annual DuescheMarks car show again this year at the Gilmore Car Museum Saturday. They claim it's the largest gathering of German cars in the nation. A good 500 or more cars of all types. Porsche and BMW as usual make up the top 2 but it's a great time to see a huge variety of new and old German vehicles. So much fun to see how much pride everyone takes in there cars new and old and great to talk to some very passionate persons about what they have. If you ever have a chance to attend I'd highly recommend!

I took tons of pics but this is just a sample of what is their to see. I thought I may see more G80/G82's this year but only mine, and 2 others were at the event. Another forum member "moproblems" attended again and talked with him a bit.

Due to a self-inflicted calendar snafu, I arrived in good time early today to greet arriving Jaguars, MGs and Lotuses. Glad the weather was damn near perfect for both days' event!!

So I'm assuming your calendar had you at the wrong event then lol? If so that's a pisser to drive all that way. But yes, at least the weather was perfect both days.

Today was the British invasion event I believe?

Yes, it was disappointing to miss the German cars I drove there to see, but it was a peaceful drive down (assisted driving north of G.R. a boon) and a leisurely drive through Manistee N.F. back up). Besides, prepping for the show was a great excuse to detail my car beyond its routine wash.

It was for sale. I think they wanted a cool $124,900. You could smell the new leather upholstery.

Wish I could attend. Must have been an experience to witness so many great cars, especially M3 and M4 in IOMG.
