First pic, car off parking lamps on (white). Start car with headlamps off, yellow (marker is lit in photo cause parking lamps were on). Basically yellow whenever car is running regardless if headlamps on/off or high/low. Of course, you can disable DRL but only a psychopath would do that.

Hmmm
I don’t think I’ve ever seen mine white. Let check and report back.
Just flushed the brake fluid cause the pedal is getting soft under spirited driving.
Lots of bubbles came out.

That's surprising - how spirited, enough to boil the fluid?

The catless downpipes certainly help with this. One tip and an observation. I bought a low-profile ratchet with handle extensions to make tilt adjustments on the full bucket seat and dialed in a very comfortable position. I'll edit this post and add a pic and links if interested.

Second, I do notice a rattle which may be coming from the rear. If i drive on the lane dots (bots dots) it is loud, but as soon brakes are lightly touched it goes away. I would not expect the rear pads to rattle with the clips in place but not sure if that's it. Anyone else notice this? I'll be pulling off the rear wheels to try and isolate the noise. Congrats again to all CSL owners and those who recently took delivery. As a recovered track rat who has instructed in a wide variety of performance cars this car is right up there. I laughed out loud descending a canyon road this morning thinking of the early takes here on the forums that the CSL is just a sticker-pack marketing exercise. Doesn't deserve the badge etc. I remember ScullyD saying that was a good sign and he was right.
Not noticed any rattles in mine but one of the tyres has lower pressure than the others (and because there are no power points in the car, I'll have to go to the petrol station to rectify). Only a minor nuisance though.

Agree with your view of the car though, it's genuinely awesome to drive, can't wait to get it on track.

The interesting thing is, there was some fluid outside the reservoir that I noticed.
It was early morning and zero cars on the road and I wanted to see what’s the top speed was.
I did a couple pulls back to back and when I got on the back roads, I noticed the brake pedal wasn’t as before and the travel was more.
Same thing happened to me in the M5 CS and after a proper flush with proper fluid, stops on a dime.

Is it:

Unlock car - yellow DRL, then back to standard white.

Turn car on with beams on - yellow DRL.

No beam on - white DRL?
In the UK, yes.

What pressures are you guys running on the ps4s. I noticed in the garage today while taking it around the block I was set to 48-50… way to high and need to lower it to correct psi. Was thinking a 32-36?

Wow yeah you need to be around 32 in the PS4s I think, less in the Cup2s.

I had the carbon bucket seat adjusted at the break-in. Went down to the lowest of the 3 settings (car came in the middle setting) with mid-level of tilt. I’m 6’0” and that seems to be perfect for me.

There is a 12v source in the boot, right side, to power the flat kit.

Here are a couple options I use to adjust seat tilt in position for the race buckets. If you need to change among the three slots you have to remove the seat, but once you get your slot - these tools will help dial in tilt. You may want to set a different tilt for track, spirited driving, long trips, etc. Easily done with these tools which I now carry in the car.

My preferred option uses one of my favorite tools - the Ares Micro Bit Ratchet. An awesome bit of kit, with a T45 torx bit and a 1/4" hex extension inserted into the end of the ratchet. So slick. The other option is a T45 from this set of low-profile ball detent bits coupled with a 13MM ratcheting wrench. Bit pops in securely but you need to flip it to reverse direction. Downside here is that it is shorter so you lose some leverage but is easy to control. The detent bit set is pricey.

Will someone be an absolute legend and measure the width of the red bonnet stripes for me? 😁

I’m going to order some red stripes and stick it on my black 3CS bonnet so it’s not tooooooo stealthy.

Even a rough estimate will do… 5mm, 7mm, 10mm? 😄

The design is asymmetric: ~10.5 mm on the narrow side, ~24 mm on the wide side. Good luck with the stripes! Please post a picture showing the final product.

I had my CSL coded with anti dazzle and the only way that it could be done fully was to have Euro spec which the yellow DRL is only on when low/ high beams are one, alarming on/ off car. The rest of the time it’s white.

The strip is not one width through out?

So which part is wider? The inner parts or outer parts ?

Don’t worry I’ve just noticed now by looking at pictures!

Is the strip one width through out the whole side on both sides? Or does it get narrower as it gets to the bottom.

Hard to tell because the hood indentation (on each side of the exposed CF) gets progressively deeper near the front. The red stripe sits right on that indentation and it is hard to measure its width (down to mm precision) because this is not a flat surface. Sorry I can't be of more help this time.
