I love the fact that you do it all by yourself , even the alignemnt ! Hats off . I always laugh when I see you guys get brand new cars and start ripping them apart . I just changed the suspension on my F31 and was concerned I would scratch something 😂. Beautiful car and beautiful color combo . Classy .

It’s not about buying a new car. It’s how you buy the new car.

I just came to say love the M4 and your garage setup. I keep telling myself to sell what’s in my garage but never find the time to do so. Your pictures have motivated me to fix the garage today haha

LaForge Industries. LFI CSF1 V2 Racing Forged Wheel. 20x10 ET21 and 20x10.5 ET15 in brushed bronze. It’s 5mm offset from stock front and rear.
Tires are PZero Ft 285/30-20 Re 295/30-20.
Ride height is 15mm lower.
I do get a slight rub from the left front when backing up and turning right. #ABI.

I only put a few hundred miles on with the stock springs.
The M springs are just fine. But I find what some find harsh I don’t. I like firm seats and feeling the cracks in the road.

I always had older Porsches so when I got the 07 GT3RS it felt super stiff.
This car feels just as stiff. It trycicles out my steep driveway onto the street just the same. It may be slightly firmer than the Porsche, but probably because the springs are new.
The cornering on the street is just as good. I’d really need to have both cars at the track to narrow down which feels better in a turn.

There is a thread on them in the Wheels and Tires section. Only downside is comunication is through WhatsApp and slow. But nobody has got burned.

https://lf-ind.com/

Some trash talk about them from the people that spent $13k for similar forged wheels. These were $3K delivered. With some custom tweaks to the design. And machining for factory caps is free.

I could get 4 different sets of wheels for the price of one HRE set

Your build is coming together splendidly! Ironman it is~ gold and red~ Thank you for sharing about us on your build thread! Maybe can consider a set with red and gold on the wheels itself for your next look/winter/track~

Looking forward to more updates from you!

Not too late to order a set for winter~! hehe

Nice car and mods. Great to see what is, I assume, another Rosso Corsa M4 out there.

Kudos to you for an amazing build. The red on red looks amazing in the opinion of this architect. Very creative and unique color scheme. What cars had red on red back in the day?

A lot in the late 60's. Porsche, Mustang, Camaro, Thunderbird, Galaxy, Chevelle.
I can't think of any Mopar cars with red/red. Those guys have always been weird

Back in 1983, I had a new Mark 1 GTI. It was red on the exterior and red interior: velour seats, dash, door cards, headliner, carpeting, everything was red. I’m doing the same damn thing with my ‘24 M3cx. TR and Fiona. (Take me back to the ‘80’s)

Yea the Red interiors were 100% red back then. There is a lot of black in this interior.

HaHa. My son made the same comment when I sent him a pic of the tail lights, so I changed it the next day.

I’ve been gathering some parts for the next few mods. Going to do some under hood details, mid pipe and audio upgrades

I piked up some Focal subs today and ordered the Match Amp and harness.

Installed the subs tonight. Pretty good improvement with the stock amp. I can’t wait to see what the Match amp adds.

Best part was being able to vacuum under the seats.

I'm picking up the Match Amp and harness today and the final parts should be here next week.
So here is the list of parts for this weekend and into next.

EXHAUST
  • Active single mid pipe with resonator.
  • SST Exhaust Valve Controller
  • Paint muffler black

BRAKES
  • New brake pads from Racing Brake to hopefully get rid of the CCB groaning
  • Titanium wheel stud kit

UNDER HOOD
  • Paint cooling schroud Toronto Red
  • Paint CSL Brace Gold to match calipers and install
  • Install Red & Gold Zink Downstar kit
  • Install Red Blackline Caps
  • Install Carbon engine cover and power distribution cover

INTERIOR
  • Install Match Amp
  • Install Lighted Cup Holder
  • Install M4 center console trim
Car will be done.
I didn't want to down the car in the summer, so I've was holding off. Holidays are too busy and now spring is near. So I need to get moving.
Most of this weekend will be spent painting. Painting takes so much more time than just installing parts.
I'll probably get the SST, Amp. and a few small things installed while paint cures. Mid pipe won't be here until Tuesday.
