Despite being well known for building and modifying road cars, we’re also very passionate about motorsport. We do love our track cars and so, this year, it was time to get a little more involved.



You may know or may not have already heard of Tom Wrigley. Tom seems to have blown up a bit over the past year in the BMW scene thanks to the insane results he’s getting on the drag strip. He’s a good friend of ours and the only man we allow to tune our vehicles. Tom is the man behind our 1000bhp G80 M3 xDrive and also currently has the UK’s fastest BMW M140i, running a 9.2 second ¼ mile on the road.



Racing since the age of 8 years old, Tom knows his way around a track and is now a professional driver, racing in the British GT Series. Tom started his racing career with karting and worked is way up the ranks in BMWs, Porsches, Ginettas as well as recently racing the McLaren Artura GT4 in British GT last year. Out of the 115 races Tom has entered, he’s achieved 20 wins in total making his race win percentage 17.5% with a 39.5% podium percentage.




For the 2024 British GT season, Tom’s racing a BMW G82 M4 GT4 car and R44 Performance is a proud sponsor of this car!

Ian has nearly two decades worth of racing experience ranging from Formula Ford, British Endurance & British GT.

Tom and Ian are working with a unique charity called the Lions Barber Collective.

The Lions Barber Collective is an international collection of top barbers which have come together to help raise awareness for the prevention of suicide. The charity aims to prevent suicide by creating training that enables barbers to recognise, talk and listen out for symptoms of depression.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 and, as part of an ongoing commitment to mental health, SRO is funding training for all teams. They will develop the skills to listen with empathy and without judgement, to ask the right questions, and to signpost someone when help is needed

Our BMW F80 M3 Track Car

Circuit racing is very popular here in the UK. We wanted to get in on the action, so we built a BMW F80 M3 - purely for the racetrack. Despite being a saloon/sedan bodystyle, the F80 is an amazing chassis for building a track car. Heard Tom talking about the lions barber collective and love the concept. I'm a big proponent of mental health and lost my father to Suicide. If there's a US chapter I'd love to get involved.

I appreciate it and keep up the good work. I was just sharing for my circumstances I've come to terms with it but if I can help one person look at the bigger picture then I've succeeded.
Do they stream any of the races online? I'll look into it.
