Same experience here. Pushed hard through the canyons this morning and it just wanted more.

Congratulations - it looks so good. To me, in that configuration, it’s one of the best looking BMWs ever. The Seattle car?

I know this is an entirely subjective question. The reviews I’ve watched or read all seem to say the same thing. Fast, a bit of a handful, hyper aggressive. But perhaps questionable for what it costs.

Is it worth its price to you for the experience compared to what else is on the market? I’m not one to care for just numbers/ring times, but rather the fizz.

I’m asking because I’m about to make a deposit on an M4 CS. Not 1:1 with a CSL, but I have the same line of questions for it as well.

I’ve given myself a very specific budget for the next car, and the M4 CS lands squarely in that budget. I’m wondering if the experience justifies the price (coming from 2 G82 rwd).
CSL is a total blast and quite a unique experience compared to other exotics. You won't be disappointed. Sense of occasion every time you fire it up....

Looks awesome, any sound clips? I wish i had kept my M4 CSL long enough to add the Eventuri to it and really hear that induction sound that the car deserved.

Just took mine out for a Sunday morning blatt. It was enormous fun (I videoed it too but the quality is not great). The noise it makes and now that temps are hot, the grip are both incredible. It’s gonna be a great summer!

Think that’s wishful thinking - the car is sold out now and the only thing stopping cars going for overs on the UK, is the fact that it’s illegal for new cars to be sold for more than list. Used is fine but not new.

Got some Cup 2 tyres for mine last week. Will aim to get them fitted in the next week or two and will report back on how the car feels on them compared to the Cup 2 R.

I’m looking forward to trying them out in this hot, dry weather.

Read some of the the CS reviews with real interest, amazing how positive the UK journalists are when there’s no weight of expectation with BMW’s naming convention and the weather is good.

One of them even commented that the car was closer to the CSL than the standard car. Weird right? Given that the standard car is a 5 star car and the CSL was only given 4 stars. Just goes to show that the CSL is way better than the UK mags alluded to even in sub-optimal conditions.

Which tires did it come with those Pirelli Corsas?

Nevermind I see them, Pilot Sport 4? Still curious to hear your comparisons, I hope my CS doesnt come with the Pirellis, wasnt that happy with the P Zeros.

The car gives back all of the excitement and fun everyone says modern BMWs lack, with a sizable dollop of performance slapped on top. Even the shifts are full of character and emotion.

~600hp, 3600lb, RWD coupe with excellent, lively handling - totally under-appreciated package. I think some journalists and owners say they want something, but like the idea more than the actual thing.

I haven't heard anyone buying under MSRP but it doesn't hurt to try. There are 7 new cars on cars.com and 11 new cars on Autotrader. All you need to do is make 11 phone calls with offers. Very doubtful but kudos to you if you can make it happen.
