I would say exercise some patience, there are a ton of cars from earlier build weeks still waiting to go east coast ports like Port Bayonne in NJ.

Yeah that's probably the case, and it would be wise to be patient. My POA is NYC.

Ah so Port Bayonne, yeah there are quite a few cars waiting including myself for there! However, our odds are good for getting on one of the two ships arriving in Bremerhaven between now and June 1st!

I went back and forth thinking the same thing. In the end I caved and drove it. Made me want the car even more. That i4 M50 is insane. I was surprised to to find out the 0-60 time is slower than the M3. First all electric car I've driven. Really no interest in going all electric until they get better range. I would do it just to drive that. The XM was ok. Powerful, yes. Worth the $159k price tag, not IMO. Not sure I get the hybrid. Should have skipped the battery and motor weight and tuned the engine for more HP if that was the goal. They also have an X7 M60 that I was able to drive. It was the LCI X7. I would buy that before I spent the money on an XM. The dealership also had an i7 they were showing. What a freaking car. The range though. Going to have to get near/over 400 mile range before I'm looking at all electric though.

Did your status change over the weekend? I’ve been checking but since it’s a holiday weekend in Germany I didn’t know if all the checking is in vain. I’ve seen statuses change on Saturday but have yet to see it on a Sunday much less a holiday.

Mine changed as of this morning. It had been hovering at 190 over the weekend.

Mine hasn’t changed yet but has been on Status 190 since last Thursday. Maybe we were in the same train and mine hasn’t been unloaded….lol. Seems my car is getting the maximum stay at every status. 18 days in QC. 4 days in Dispatched from factory. Hopefully my port stay isn’t long as well.

I went 190 on Friday morning, shortly after you did. I didn't go 193 until this morning. I wouldn't be surprised if you were right there with me. Seems to me like you've already passed all of the dicey parts. Now it's just a matter of getting the car to the port, which is relatively straight forward I assume. The real wait is going to be figuring out when it gets on a boat and which boat it gets on to. Since both of us are in FL, i assume we'll be on same boat, and I assume that the POE is Brunswick, GA.

Sweet! Mine went 190 on 5/27 and my POE is Brunswick as well. Still 190 as of now, heres to hoping it doesn't sit at the port too long. I'm hoping for a late June arrival to NC, not sure how realistic that will be.

WW has ships leaving Bremerhaven on May 31, June 7, 8, 12, 15, 16 with stops in Brunswick.

KLine has one leaving Bremerhaven June 11.

So a couple of WW ships and ARC integrity would be the best options to get out of there quickly. Sounds like there is white the backlog looking at previous build weeks. Lots of ships leaving so hopefully that backlog gets caught up.

That's great intel, and more than I was able to discern! I just got off the phone with BMW Genius and they told me that since I just got to port, I have to wait a bit before they have any information regarding the ship.

I'm at 190. Earlier in the thread I said I was hoping for some delays as I'll be unable to take delivery for the last 3 weeks of July... now I'm hoping to swing it the other way. Hoping to get it here before July 7 (it's coming in 8 hours away so there's a bit of a hassle to collect it). Car is a base M3 in portimoa blue and Silverstone/black interior.

Might be early for week 21 builds but the Taipan is underway from Bremerhaven with stops in New York, Brunswick, and Charleston. It is also stopping in Zeebrugge next. I’ve heard some cars can end up in Zeebrugge from the factory. Not sure if there is a way to tell which port your car went to from the factory.
