Average time going through POA and VPC?
My G80 is currently onboard Wild Rose Leader, heading to Port of Hueneme. The genius told me the ship's ETA to Port Hueneme is 7/29. I wonder what is the average time spent in the port of arrival, going through customs, and VPC?
My dealer is in the LA area, but I am in Seattle (bc I was able to find this car available when it was in 150 status), so I would have to fly down to Los Angeles to take delivery. I also just happened to have some business to be in LA during the weekend of 8/5. The dealer is only about 1.5 hrs from Port Hueneme, so I think it would arrive at the dealer the same day or the next day once the car got onto a truck. I am curious to see how long did your car take from arriving at POA (Hueneme) to being in transit again on a truck? Is it likely for me to take delivery of the car by 8/7, while I'm in LA?

Can’t speak about west coast times but my port was Brunswick GA and it arrived at port Sunday July 9, in transit to dealer as of today around 4pm.

I don't think that there's any definitive answer to your question. I think it depends on the port and how many ships are unloading cars around the same time.
About a year ago, the ship carrying my M8 arrived in Brunswick on a Tuesday morning and I picked it up at my dealership (5 hours away) two and a half days later, on Thursday night. Recently, a friend's car arrived in NY and it took a week and a half to get to Boston.

I talk to my CA and have looked it up from other post they say it takes like 48 hours to get through the VPC and then time on the truck, my CA says on average they say about 10 days to get to my dealership in AZ

This was in 2019 , took about 4 days total
From touching down to Port Hueneme to landing at the dealer in L.A Of course the nearer your dealer is to the port .. the better. You'll be cutting down on transit time by a few days depending on distance But most important is no delays, issues, or stope sales at VPC . And port added options will add a wee bit of time . That's about it really

Car sat at Port Hueneme for 10 days, waiting for a stop sale, that I didn't know the car had, until it arrived at the port. Once it got on the truck, it was 4 days from Hueneme to Sacramento.
