This.

Only other wheels I'd care to install would be LMs. True classic.

Im finally getting my car next month (white color also) and would like to run same setup as you FISH22 .

from what I read in this thread:
Front: 20x10 +15, 275/30/20 (no rubbing, no spacer).
can you confirm if you get any type of rubbing with a 285/30/20 on the front with no spacer? I will keep the car at stock height for now.
Rear: 20x11 +15, 295/30/20 (no rubbing, no spacer).

has anyone ordered from vivid racing, and if the wheels listed are actually in stock? (the ones I want do not have the in stock indicator, and how long if you placed an order with them if they aren't in stock)

Thanks in advance

I did rub a bit on the front with a 285/30, but this is lowered with KW HAS. Absolutely zero rubbing on the rear with a 295/30. Most of the rubbing on the front is from the forward fins in the fender liner, easily trimmed. After some trimming and custom fab on the liners, I have nearly zero rubbing even with a 10mm spacer on the front.

I purchased my diamond black set from Vivid, and I'm pretty sure there are a few more in this thread that did. If you're looking for a set they have to order, I've been told about 10 months.

Blast is a little darker and almite or the OG bronze is a little lighter.

https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/thre...sizing.270496/

Link shows both colors. Not side by side but you can tell the difference in color.

I like both and it's a tough choice but can't go wrong with either. Id say if a vendor had either in stock, go for it. Wait time is like 9months if you had to order.

I really like mag blue but I have blue calipers and that might clash…

Those are blast bronze. For portimao blue either color would look gorgeous!

These are the standard G8x spec: 20x10 +15 and 20x11 +15. 10mm spacer on the front. Thinking of doing a 3-5mm on the rear.

Only thing I would have done differently, keep 275s on the front. 285s aren't hard to fit on the front, but they can rub pretty bad, and it's quite a bit of tire for a daily driver. I have 295s on the rear.

so you think the 275 at the front would eliminate the rubbing then?

also... wouldn't 275 be too stretched?

i need to decide on tires too... i want that thicc sidewall look like R888!!

The tire height of the 275/30 would help a bit. It's about a quarter inch shorter than a 285/30. The 275 would be more stretched than the 285, but I don't think it would be that much. But, the look right now is money, good meaty look. Would hate to lose that.

From what I gathered, if you go 295 4S on the rear, make sure you go with the black wall spec or Porsche spec (N0 code). These are the widest 4S's.

oh ok... you're running 285s in the front, are they the bmw or porsche spec?

i was originally thinking of throwing the stock bmw (star code) rears to the front... and get the porsche (N0 code) tires for the rears. but now i'm also thinking if i should also get the porsche 285s for the front as well... to get that fat look all around! what do you think?

That's exactly what I'm rocking right now.. 285 star on the front (my original rears), and the 295 N0 rears. They are perfectly meaty for their respective wheel widths.

I'm done some good miles on this setup, along with a few sporty drives chasing quarter million dollar German and Italian cars.
