..::PSI::.. - Fixing the Frustrating G8X Brake Dust Problem
As BMW drivers, we're all too familiar with the story: the early morning car cleaning routine before heading to a show, only to find our wheels covered in brake dust by the time we arrive. This frustrating issue became apparent shortly after we picked up our G80 M3, and was still an issue when we picked up our G87 M2. Determined to find a solution, we reached out to our motorsport engineer in Japan who is an expert in brake pad compound development for motorsport and street cars. His decades of experience developing custom compounds for endurance racing lead to the final compound exceeding any of our expectations. His challenge: develop brake pads that match OEM performance while minimizing dust. After several iterations and testing, the PSI SP1 compound was created! After testing these pads for ourselves, we sent them out to some of our friends around the world for real world testing. With over 50 full kits already distributed around the world, we're thrilled to open up our orders for the next batches. Fits M2 G87 / M3 G80 / M4 G82 / M4 G83 BMW's. SP1 Performance Street : SP1 has a maximum operating temperature of 600 C and is a performance street pad. Designed for low dust and low NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness). The pad is well mannered on the street with low noise and perfect for spirited driving and some beginner track use.

Nice, now I have a link to a post I can send people that ask this question, everyday. Any benefit in changing out my CCB pads? Not for these pads, of course, but, are there better pads for CCBs?

Would be interested in seeing some actual testing between all these "no dust" brake pads, we have like 4-5 options now, and these are even more expensive than the even more expensive iSweeps (than the EBCs).

yeah, was going to comment the same. Why buy these over the iSweeps or the EBC Red Stuff? Is there any benefit to the extra $$?

My thread is linked above but I'm writing here to give PSI props for properly advertising these great pads. Hell, they may be under selling them at this point.
I work in the aftermarket car parts business and have personally run and sold most brake pad brands. I'm not an engineer or race car driver but I work with manufacturers regularly and can say I know a lot of subject matter experts. I've read many "reviews" of other pads on this forum and some are spurious at best. I'm sure people love their new pads but there is no single pad on earth that will do all of these at the same time when compared to stock: 1. feel better 2. bite earlier 3. perform waaayyy better 4. dust less 5. make less noise Most people don't track their cars so the use case is pretty simple - daily and spirited street driving. The SP1 gets it done at the highest level and I highly recommend them.
