Wow. I dont post much here anymore but this is amazing. This is where the word “build” should be used and not on your leased car with slapped on carbon pieces and vynil wraps thats done in 5 business days.

While the car and build are simply amazing… I have to say I’m more impressed with the amount of dedication everyone’s involved in the project.
Job well done! |

That is absolutely fantastic. Not a fan of the tail lights (all white) but other than that it’s pretty epic.

This is absolutely amazing, and honestly it’s inspiring to see something like this become reality. I love how you really explored some of BMW’s greatest design achievements and made it into a cohesive result.
PS: I’ve only seen two useless suggestions from people saying how they’d do it differently, which is a decent ratio so far. Make your own dreams happen, folks 😴 |

Having seen on this forum a lot of reimagined BMWs, including that Z4Coupe turned into a Z8 lookalike (no thanks), this 8 series is the best effort yet.
Sure, I dont like clear tail lights. I dont think the front bumper works as well (it just looks busy, too many holes, the round holes especially look strange). BUT - the flares, the dash interior treatment, those are pretty good. The rims are super nice, really good homage to originals, but with a great twist (thankfully as so easy to ruin it). I also feel like it has a bit of an LMR V12 look to the front, which is cool (they mention E46CSL but I think it has almost a racing prototype look). The flaring on doors is so nice, so reasonable and expected, shame on BMW being so cheap asses and not doing it on modern cars. Kudos for this detail, the guy knows what he is doing! Think tis a successful reimagined car. Nice one. PS. And NOT ONE PERSON complains about rod bearings or reliability on the V10. LMAO.
