I just ordered the cable that kubax86 has suggested. Hoping to order the CS upgrade for my 24 M4xC here soon. I am going to have them apply it beginning of November after I have my warranty work done for the really loud clunk in my rear suspension/driveline area.

Ok, just finished my 10k service and ready to jump in the pool with this. I have a G83 Convertible. Would I be ordering the CS tune or CSL tune. Going to do all including the anti dazzle. Thanks all.

Depends on if your xDrive or RWD.

RWD -> CSL
xDrive -> CS

CS to RWD car is also possible (even though cs is awd only)

For those of us with late production date M4 xDrives (2024+), is there still a benefit to this? Or did they change the calibration/hide it in one of the different drive modes?

I know that MCA/LCI updates generally put in little tweaks to software here and there, curious if this is one of them.

Are you talking about LCI models or just any 2024? I have a 2024 pre-LCI and the difference is still incredibly stark.

I think LCI models, but you'll have to forgive me if I misunderstood the nomenclature however as I'm still trying to understand where exactly the LCI took place.

BMW didn’t improve anything in regards to this. It’s all the same as previous years. You still need to do the coding to get the CS/CSL results, even on 2025 models.

I figured as much but wanted to ask if there was a dependency there, thanks!

All you need is ethernet port/adapter and you're good to go with your PC.
As for 6MT, besides transmission we do everything - from customers reviews steering/differential makes most of the difference.

I do have a laptop as well, also blue-tooth dongle/port used for Bimmercode,, would that work?

So steering is changed dramatically?

That is the reason I would want this flash.

Thanks -

I wouldn’t be flashing modules with wireless dongles. Get yourself a cabled connection man.

I just had kubax86 code my 2024 M4xC this morning. Very smooth process provided you follow the email and have everything ahead of time.

You can really tell there is a difference in the steering feel, brake feel and suspension compliance on the 1st drive. So far worth every bit of the upgrade cost.

Thanks Kubah!

So far after driving the car for 3 days I am really like it. I drive in my M1 button all the time which has the suspension set to Sport Plus. So far the suspension seems much more planted. It is a little firmer than the stock calibration but not bone jarring.

I need to get it on some winding roads to see how it does, sadly in my city it is nothing but straight concrete jungle roads for miles on end.

Huge shoutout to kubax86 when I purchased my car it had xHP trans tune with custom trans tune from Sutphin. Although car was running ok it didn’t feel like a proper BMW. I just had the CSL Flash from http://bimmer-remote.com and I’m beyond WOW’d by the results! Super happy I went this route, the car shifts amazing and also the CSL steering is phenomenal. If you’re on the fence about it, do yourself a favor and pull he trigger. Also being a Oem BMW flash you don’t affect warranty.

No offense to CS flash, but I have seen in past people switching from regular Xhp to CS flash. But I have never seen anyone having a rob sutphin tuned xhp and switching to CS. That is a very interesting first..

By no means was I implying anything negative about the Sutphin tune. Just a preference thing for me. Car was running fine but the shifts were just a tad bit too aggressive for my daily driving needs. If the car was my weekend car that I planned to turn up the power on I’d definitely keep the Sutphin tune. I feel like the CS gives me just that perfect balance between daily driving with enough aggressiveness on level 3 to make it a fun daily.
