Beautiful car/spec but seriously a terrible video and review. Can't wait till Doug Demuro, MilesPerHr or TheTopher get a hand on one of these cars and do a solid review.

My Camaro ZL1 does it 6.5 in stock form and that is 650hp and similar weight. It’s definitely up there in power.

It's just great people actually pay for the cars they desire.

Hmmm if you start looking into JP's history, you will see he pays for most of of his cars if not all.
Some of his videos shows project cars being sold to dealers he usually use.
He's not just some YouTuber, but runs a business with +50 employees with tuningshop, burger joint, European import of Rotiform and a 3 storage museum.
And he has a background as a Porsche and 9ff sales representative

Yeah, it should be the same 2000km break in. It's the same motor, with a software power bump.

2,000 kms is insane. I agree with this guy's approach - 1,000 kms and then let it rip.

Dunno, maybe BMW just wants to make Americans suffer and wait until 1,200 miles. Regardless, he gets to 1000km then stomps on it. It still needs the break in service before stomping on it.

I imagine with video evidence for this csl they could potential place blame elsewhere.

I had a dinan tune on my last car and BMW blamed my alarm faults for going off randomly on the tune and refused to do anything
