I'd be happy with base m3/4, standard carbon buckets, manual, CSL headlights and the grille minus the red trim

Although I love bmw is atleast doing things like this.

Shame they didn't learn from the E46 CSL's largest criticism (SMG) and put an auto in this... so much for lightweight. Maybe they'll get it right and put a manual in the M2 CSL

They are not wrong though. Look at 991 GT3 prices compared to M4 GTS prices. You can get M4 GTS sub-$100k even in this over inflated car market. Before inflation, some GTS were listed in $70k range...almost half their original msrp.

No, but you can get the last hardcore M4 model for $85-$90k. Original msrp of $133k.

I'm interested in the new ZF8 transmission programming for the CSL which the head of M division called "much faster" than in the Comp. Hopefully we'll be able to flash/code that soon just like on the F8x

This is what I'm most excited about and can't wait until it's all said and done.

I had the GTS flash tune on my F82 and couldn't tell a difference , from the tranny to suspension.
