The pictures are kind of confusing, but thanks for posting them. I ordered the laserlights without shadowline because I felt the black outer ring would look too busy, along with all of the other black trim, on my white M4. I'm hoping the silver trim lets the beauty of the laserlights stand out more on their own. I guess I'll know if I made a mistake whenever the car arrives, and I get to see it. But I do think the shadowline option is great for many of the exterior colors. I honestly don't think you lose either way.

This 👏🏼. I've always said Laser Lights are a must. Boggles my mind that some people will still defend their decision not optioning laser on a car of this caliber.

Yea, but I am wondering what the laser lights look like without the shadow
I have Lasers without shadow line headlights. Not a closeup, but maybe this helps?

The coded laser lights are amazing at night. The technology is brilliant in its application.

And the laser DRLs simply look better to me.

The laser LEDs were a must-have, a primary item on my option list.

100% going to add them. Road trips, vacations, etc - they'll get plenty of usage outside the city.

Looks great. That's exactly what I was hoping for by ordering the lasers without the shadowline.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

And also the fact that everyone can see from a distance that you cheaped out a grand in a $80k+ car! 😂
For $1k it's an easy choice.

For my '21 it was only available with the $3.5k executive package. Didn't want the hud , gesture controls or power tailgate so I passed.

IDGAF about the gesture controls, and could take or leave the power tailgate, but the HUD is awesome. Definitely a must-have IMO.

Had it on my F30 and X7, it's very good but not necessary for my daily commute.

So, really only the outer ring is different. They look almost identical to shadow lasers.

I agree. The laser lights make the angel eyes look like a BMW. The "U" shaped stock angel eyes don't really do it for me. If that makes any sense.

It's actually just the top "brow" at the top of the headlight casing….mine is silver and shadowline is black. It's not the whole ring.

I got the standard LED and I went through a period when I was really regretting not getting the lasers. Now I've come to accept it and don't mind it at all anymore. Actually makes my car look different than others and I think it looks more "stealthy" if that makes sense. Here's a pic of my car (in front) with an M4 headlights peaking behind me. I feel like the standard lights have a way of balancing out the large grill (which I love) whereas the laser lights accentuate it. If I had the choice now would I pick the laser lights? Probably...but as someone who has the standard lights, it has it's own look that I've come to love. All IMHO.

"issues" is a loose term when they're designed to ventilate

I don't think I'll ever be in an area where the lasers will actually activate. I live in an area that has plenty of street lights. Plus I rarely ever drive at night or early mornings anymore.

However, the laser lights just look better, thus I had to option them.

I think both look very nice. Necessity of either version of course varies, but I preferred the look of the standard LED over the lasers, especially on a "darker" car (Dravit)...

I spent the extra money on the lasers and I'm not 100% sure it was worth it for the looks. They're fine, but not nearly as look changing as the carbon fiber inlets. If I didn't have them, I don't think I'd miss them.
