hmm so #20 -> allocation in approx 4 months ish -- based on that I should be getting a prod # any day now, it's been 3 months now

Correct! 6-8 months to receive the car he mention that production is increasing but to be on the safe side just expect that wait time.

So when I contacted this dealership directly, a different CA asked for a deposit and he didn't want to put down an order if I wasn't committed to buying.

Later I contacted Eugene directly after getting a rec and he didn't need a deposit nor an initial credit app

I put down a 1 k deposit and credit app and sent in specs of the order through bmwusa to the dealer

I texted him on Monday and he said no update on my order. He said he is checking and told me not to worry.
