Around 7 months from first contact to getting an allocation. But I was introduced to someone else before Michael. That person left the dealership and dropped communication after around 4 months in. Michael picked up his leads I guess and he called me to offer an allocation around the 7 months mark.

That’s actually pretty good. I put my name down at EB and was #12 in December 2021. My allocation for an xdrive was received 8/5 and vehicle just arrived at the port this week. Hoping to take delivery early/mid November which is a total of 10-11 months from putting my name down.

I too worked with a buddy rec who has left since December and now working with Michael. I must say, Michael is a great SA to work with and very accommodating. He has made my first BMW EB experience very positive and will be def taking all my future business there.

I think Weatherford in Berkeley is still MSRP. Talk to my guy Ali. He'll confirm it if so.

When I reached out this summer, BMW Escondido and BMW Murrieta were both doing MSRP plus $500 or so in mandatory dealer add-ons (PPF on door edges, etc). So, not a pure MSRP deal, but close. And I got my M3 allocation from BMW Escondido in around 6 weeks. Scheduled to be built 11/4.

I bought mine from Sergik at Valencia at MSRP with no tack-ons, but the answers by dealership seem to be a little inconsistent here. YMMV on most of the recommendations here.

Was also waitlist at Escondido but got the call from Valencia first. 11/5 build at MSRP.

Escondido manager was telling me $2k in ceramic coat. Not sure if they changed it but I spoke to them recently

How much did they charge to get on a waitlist?

No charge to get on a waitlist. However the following Socal dealers had deposit requirements:

1) Murrieta
2) Monrovia
3) Ontario
4) Steve Thomas (Oxnard)

I'm working with JC (Valencia) right now at MSRP. Other folks here have utilized him as well and my experience has been flawless so far. I reached out to them in August then got an allocation for a base M3 in October. I did talk to Escondido, and was waitlisted with them prior to getting the allocation from Valencia.

Don't go to BMW Santa Monica.

They wanted 50k over for the M3 Jahre edition and 10-20k over normal M cars.

Also quoted like 6.5 for apr.
