Picked her up yesterday after window tint, PPF & Ceramic.

Installed TLG Mud Flaps, Tux mats as well as Mirror tapped my Uniden R8 with Blendmount. Really struggled with getting my Genie garage door opener to sync with homelink (older unit) found a few videos and will try again tomorrow when I have more time.

Front springs and EBC Reds being installed today.

I’ll install the SST Valve Controller and Mishimoto Cooler guard tomorrow.

Man, I might have to call this Tobster’s thread! Where’s everyone else’s updates?? lol.

Got the EBC Reds installed (good improvement over OEM even although I only had the OEMs for 400 miles).
Front Eibach installed too, hoping they settle a little more in the coming week. Went with 20x10.5 Wheels on the front but still considering 10mm Spacers.

I also installed the SST Valve Controller and the Mishimoto Oil Cooler Guard yesterday. Two well with while and easy mods.

Considering the DRLs today but still undecided, the white DRL looks really good IMO and I have a set of Yellow and Orange DRL to decide on………

Car is dirty as hell. Drove 50 miles Friday morning in that Houston rain and I’m not allowed to wash it for 10-14 days after the Ceramic Coating which is really eating at me lol

Got a slight occasional rattle coming from rear passenger side door, just occasionally that I might need to look into. I know what the dealer will say if I bring it to their attention. Can’t hear it or can’t replicate it.

My 12 Y/O asked me to pick him up from school on Friday, which was the first time in a long time. Wonder why

I did pass by a Techno Purple G80 the other day. (I think it was Techno - it was pretty dreary out.) I gave the friendly “headlight flash” and got a wave back. Made my day. 🥲

I’ve never been to COTA, but just checked out the site now and this looks amazing.

My G80 isn’t a show car but I like the idea of the infield parking for 75-100$. It seems like a fun experience. Is it inappropriate for me to purchase the Infield Paddock or Infield Trackside pass? Or is it frowned upon for newbs like me?

I recommend actually taking you whip onto the COTA track. mvptracktime.com has been holding sessions at COTA every February, and there are others, I’m sure.

The event should be great. It’s a lot going on so well worth the full day.

Like noted above there are many events that come year round for on track events. Edge Addicts, Chin Track Days and PCA all have multiple events each year that are great. I do close to 10 events a year so if you are ever interested don’t hesitate to reach out and I can give you a run down.
