I’ve been running my JB4 since break in. No issues. However, when the LCIs get released for builds I plan to do the femto unlock and BM3. I know a couple G8x that have done it and haven’t heard any complaints.

Yeah, too funny! I was headed out to pick up dinner tomorrow for Xmas. No, didn’t happen to notice at the time. Did you guys see/hear that obnoxious E92 M3 that turned onto Ray Road?

Ahh no didn't catch that! We were up in the superstition mountains yesterday and did come across a pretty loud e46 driving around.

Car landed at Camelback BMW Nov 30th. Every option besides the BMW driving school. Ended up be a few bucks over $118k. Took about 11 months to arrive with the CCB and Carbon Bucket shortage. Wild Berry Indvidual over Black Extended Leather. Spent the last 6 weeks getting suspension and wheels dialed in. I heavily modified my KW V3’s and built a custom set of 21x10/11.5 BBS LM. Started it driving it mid Last week. Just hit the 200 mile mark today. In addition to wheels and suspension I did color matched reflector replacement and black roundels from IND. 3 Stage paint correction, PPF, tint and cermic coated everything. Waiting on the next round of parts. Excited to join the local G8X family.

Thanks brother. The tech compared to my Land Rover autobiography is ridiculous. And they are only 3 years apart. lol. The SUV is faster at 12.8 second stock quarter mile and 0-60 in 3.8 seconds but I missed the bmw brand.

Can anyone recommend a good indy shop /advisor for repairs in the valley? I have an 07 x3 that needs an oil pan gasket replacement. It's been seeping for a decade, but seems to be about ready to cross the line to pissing. I normally do all my own work, but this one is a severe mofo (suspend engine from above, drop subframe, rf half shaft goes through the oil pan, etc.), and not sure I want to tackle it, even with a lift. Dealer puts the price on this at about $2700, which is enough to convince me to try it myself, lol, but wanted to explore other options. Thanks!

Hardy Vehicle Design in Tempe. Tyler Hardy used to be at Chapman until he went out on his own a few year ago. I’ve had him work on pretty much everything. Not always the fastest, but I know it will be done right and priced honestly.

If you want something on the north side, Cactus Bimmers is wonderful. He works out of a shop in his house and only works on BMWs. He did work on my Z3. The job was done well, he found numerous little other things that he just fixed without a charge (adjusting hood latch, lubing door handles, pointed out an easy DIY fix I could do on the window), and the pricing was great.
