Hey everyone, I have a 2023 M3C that I've had for over a year now, and last 6 months I've been dealing w horrendous brake squeal at low speeds and light pressure (I have steel/non-ceramic brakes). I take it this is a common "feature" of this vehicle. I had a $500 bake "service" by dealer that did absolutely nothing. Now I'm looking to replace the brakes w 3rd party pads to reduce this brake squeal. I spoke to my dealer and they said they only install OEM brakes and I'm not able to have them install any other pads.

All my years of car ownership I've never had any 3rd party shop do any works on any of my cars, so I'm a bit apprehensive... does anyone have any shops they can recommend in the GTA/Kitchener-Waterloo area that does work on more premium cars that may be able to do this job for me? Not sure how hard a brake pad swap is. Also, is it better for me to buy the pads and bring it to them or see if they can order it in?

And any pads recommendations? Priority is getting rid of the squeal. I've heard about EBC red stuff, or Carbotech 1821 and not sure if anyone has any experience w either.
