So it only took one week for your car to get to the dealer from when it arrived in Halifax? Geez my CA told me 2- 3 weeks. I pushed out my PPF appointment because I didn't think I'd get the car on time. Yeah... Full PPF is set on may 29th haha and install every carbon parts/exhaust/suspension

Actually my PPF is scheduled for one week later, June 5th

Are you going to keep your car off the road until you get PPF or take your chances and drive it around?

No chance I drive it haha... I even have small PPF that I will put temporary for the drive between the dealer and my garage on areas where stones like to sandblast haha

Oh wow, you have it all planned out haha. For me to get my car insured, I have to install Tag (tracking system). They will give me 10 days to do it once I drive the car off the lot, and that could be before I get PPF so I might not have a choice but to drive it without PPF.

You can't insure it without TAG? Not sure how good it is in 2023 with technology and wave jammer

Yeah most insurers won't insure a BMW without Tag. Doesn't matter if it's good or not.

BTW my car is in Montreal! It will be at the dealer by Monday

Agreed, thanks! On top of that, the price to add exterior CF trim is (apparently) much lower than adding those pieces individually after you buy the car.
