Best Spacers for M performance Suspension

Hey Guys,

Getting my M3 in a few months, and trying to prepare everything for when I get it

I ordered the car with the M performance suspension so they usually set it to the lowest possible setting, anyone know whats the best spacer set up for the wheels?

The car is a base m3 but I ordered them with the 826 comp wheels

Anyone have pictures of their set up with this suspension?

thanks!

Setup IMO is subjective and will vary based on the person needs/wants/preference. For me, I felt that running 12s all around was the perfect amount as I didn’t want to experience any rubbing in the front.

The shop I always go to, always uses Motorsport Hardware and they are made in the US.

Do you think the 15mm spacer in the front would cause any rubbing? the rears at 12mm is perfect but I just saw some pics of 15mm and I liked it a lot, what do you think?

I like a 10 F and 12 R. Tried 12 F and 12 R for the flush look, but liked the rears sticking out a little more for the wide-hip look.

Kies has good spacers with lugs. Nice price!

Driveway pic is 12F and 10R.
Gas pump pic is 10F and 12R.

What tires do you have ? Sometimes you can get away with 15's in the front.

In one of the many, many pages of the “official” M HAS thread, the consensus was that the port installers usually set the HAS to 10mm front and 10mm rear for maximum cornering force. Given the 5mm to 20mm range of adjustment, this puts the drop about halfway, not the lowest possible.

Though some have reported that the port-installed drop seems pretty low, lower than 10F / 10R would suggest.

it'll be the stock 826 wheels and tires

Maybe I should go 12s all around

And as far as the factory goes, the one I saw at the dealer on another car looked super aggressively low in the rear but the front was a little higher, maybe I can lower the front a little more so they both sit at the same level

+1

I had 13mm was too wide for my car in the front, so I used 12mm for some time, and it worked well.

After getting the RKP fender clearance, I went 15mm all around.

There are are also ways to modify the fender liner if you wish to run larger.

We should have 12's back in stock by end of the month currently have 10 and 15 ready to ship.
