How to remove the Preset Button Panel

'm trying to install a mount that requires me to remove the Preset Button Panel below. I'm using a pry tool, but it won't budge and it seems like I'm going to break it. Is there a specific tab I'm supposed to be depressing that I can't see?

Judging from the pictures of the assembly, I think they're a snug fit held my metal clips.
If the upper center console (vents and button assembly) is removed, I'm guessing you could push the whole thing from behind.

Thanks. I actually managed to muscle it out last night and trust I wasn't going to break it.
