The anxiety from the wait is real. It’s been 8 days now since I had a shop take out the DME and send it out to Femto. Worse case scenario, how much is a new DME and how would that even work?

Hope you guys don’t get too much of a delay. I got my ETA of 12/5 after being picked up by DHL earlier today out of Finland.

Mine left SoCal Tuesday afternoon. It was delivered to Femto their Thursday afternoon at 1:15pm. If left Femto at 3:00pm local time Thursday and now it’s in Leipzig. DHL site says delivery in SoCal 12/5 but I’m hoping it’s back sooner.

Can someone walk thru the steps start to finish. Do you have to black anything out on the DME? The KIES video said you have to tape off some things otherwise customs doesnt like it?

What is that temporary export thing?

Will be sending mine out in January/Feb...want to make sure I understand it 100% before I do this.

Lol mine is probably with yours. It’s in Germany now too at this moment and scheduled for 12/5 in so cal. It was also picked up from Femto 3pm their time.

Temp export means it will be shipped back to you. This way the country doesn’t go looking for Femto to pay import tax/duty on an item.

No need to black out anything on the DME or cover it up. I taped my order sheet to my DME when I sent it.

Did you pay already? Or are you waiting until the order states "processed"? Mine was delivered this morning and the status went to processed. I've since sent the wire transfer via my bank, but I assume it is pretty late over there now for them to ship it back today.

Mine left Finland late Thursday afternoon, received this morning at EAS. Just shy of 4 days including the weekend.

We don't offer ECU unlock; we also don't work with Femto. We don't plan on offering either service, so my feedback is 100% unbiased.

So far, the experience has exceeded my expectations. With how fast and convenient it's been, I'm more keen to recommend Flash Tunes to customers; its a lot easier than people think.

I sent the DME on November 30th, and Femto received it on December 5 (3 business days).

they received it at 11:50 am, unlocked it, and sent it back a few hours later. DHL picked it up from them the same day at 3:22

That's insane turnaround time! I'm expecting the dme in 3 days

I will post a final update once I flash the car, but so far, it's been an excellent experience.

They still have mine. But I have a feeling it is because I sent over the wire transfer yesterday. I probably should have done that earlier. I am having a hard time to get them to respond to emails at the moment. So that is a bit concerning.

if you sent the wire yesterday they probably have not yet received it. I sent mine the day i was shipping the DME.

I recommend contacting them on Instagram, they respond pretty quickly on there.
