1500's are suitable for everyday driving. 2000's are a little more stopping power (and a little more dust) for a street/sport style pad. There are a few posts above that specific say to NOT track with these pads.

In this video, he removes the parking brake motor and manually winds it back. It's MUCH easier to do it electronically with Bimmerlink and an OBD2 scanner.

Yes on the 1500 but no on the 2000. The 2000 you got right but are not for the track at all:

1500 = tons less dust than stock pads, same stopping as stock pads, street use only

2000 = same as 1500 but more stopping power, still less dust than stock by like 60%, not for track use
