Paging G8X M3/4 series owners in the Bay area! We're looking for volunteers for test fitting and photoshoots! Volunteers will get copies of the photos (If a photoshoot is involved), a discount on a set of future APEX wheels, and APEX goodies/swag. If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out and submit our online form (no robots allowed!).

We are looking to get photos of the new G chassis M cars. We've already had a few owners reach out to volunteer their cars, but it's always great to have more cars as options. If you have other models of BMWs or other cars that we might support, feel free to use the form as well. All are welcome!

Here's an idea of what a typical test fitment and brake scan looks like:

Damnit I wished I lived in the Bay area for this, I would totally be down! I'm looking for track wheels too. Anyway, looking forward to seeing how the VS-5RS look in 19 squared on the G82, particularly in anthracite or bronze on Alpine White!

Don't want to Jack this thread but any information on the wheel specs for the G8x ? I think they are going to be 10.5x19 to start, 20et or ?

Any 18" being released at the same time or just later ?

Also will there be a pre-order/group buy ?

That I don't know. Website shows that 19in staggered and 20in staggered.

I think our notifications for this thread/forum aren't setup correctly, apologies for the lack of responses.

We are going to have 2 fitments each in a 19" and 20" diameter. No plans for 18s currently but if we see enough demand for those wheels, we will certainly entertain producing them!

The currently scheduled fitments will give you the option to run square in certain scenarios depending on tire choices and we expect some customers to run staggered diameter sets as well. More details and one of our fitment guides to come later as the wheels are launched.

Noticed you said G80 fitment are inbound. Is G82 the same or do you plan on releasing different wheels for the coupe in the future?

Hi there,

The G80 M3 and G82 M4 fitments are going to be the same for both cars from what we have learned so far. We plan on doing some physical on-car fitment testing on both RWD and X-drive configuration M3s and M4s within the coming months, so we will be able to find out if there are any minor fitment differences between the two.

What are the chances a 19x11+22 square will work? I'm assuming you will need a coilover that uses linear springs for maximum strut clearance.
