Looks identical to my spec that is on the ocean as we speak, except for the seats.

Any comments on the handling, I love the monoballs and have the HAS incoming. Hard to say what does what effect since you all installed at the same time but there seemed to be a significant difference between the base brace and the CSL.

BMW probably developed the CSL brace first because you can clearly see the clearance already implemented and then the cheaper version was approved satisfying for mass production.

I can say that the combo of Dinan monoballs, MPHAS, and CSL brace have had a positive impact on handling and overall steering feel.

I drove it for a few days with just the monoballs/MPHAS and those made a noticeable difference, the CSL brace just added today so not much to report on that. It's probably a wildly expensive engine bay mod on the street, but I like OEM parts for this car when available.

Chalk is a very cool color & you're really lucky you have a drive on lift in your garage. The Eventuri symmetrical engine cover would make the CSL brace look even sweeter. Do you miss the X3 M at all... ?

Thanks I feel pretty lucky to have found the car! The lift is a game changer for working on cars, that's for sure. I'm thinking of saving up for the new CSL-brace-compatible Eventuri intake, but @#!$ they are expensive.

I miss some aspects of the X3MC, it's undeniably more practical as a daily driver IMO (visibility, comfort, driving dynamics, trailer hitch) but the M3 is a way more engaging drive. I don't commute at all so I'm ok with my choice, aside from the absolute bath I took on selling a year old car back to the dealer...oof
