Tint Bubbles

I rarely get cars tinted because i am worried about random stuff happening to them….

I got 20% tint done last week and it had a bunch of bubbles in it. I am mostly curious if this is normal and unavoidable or if I should bring it back.

Example attached.

Give it a couple of days, then bring it back. They will either get them out or redo it.

I will say its too much especially after 1wk from installation all should be cured. Only single bubles you should have.

If its only on one glass they will fix it for sure, if its on other windows … you may have chooses not the best installer. Consider asking for the best tech to fix your tint so you are not wasting your time. It could be a case you had intern installing tint on that side

But chill, all this will be fixed for sure.

FWIW, I had Huper Optick full ceramic placed in my car middle of 1/2023. This is a 3 layer full ceramic tint and it is thick. Had some bubbles persist until the last 2 weeks when weather started to finally warm up. Depending on your tint it may take a bit. My installer educated me over this time period so I wasn't worried. Talk with your shop/installer/manager over what should be expected.

Tinted every car I’ve ever owned. Probably 12+ Never seen that many bubbles. Maybe one or two strays here and there but that’s it. I’d take it back.

It sat out in the FL heat for a few days already. I will call and take it back if not better next week.

Those are definitely not water bubbles and won’t evaporate. Have the tint shop redo them asap so it’ll be easier to remove the old tint.
