engine swap

theoretically, other than custom engine mounts, drivetrain and ecu programming, what are parts that are required to run the engine? stuff like water/oil pumps. could a dash retrofit make things easier? I was reading about the redbull drift brothers, they ran 2 s58 drift cars for 2+ years at least. so it got me theorizing
