BMW San Diego isn't an authorized Carbahn installer (and although Encinitas moved to Carlsbad, Carlsbad isn't listed on the Carbahn site - yet...). Take a look here to see the authorized installers in CA: https://carbahn.com/find-a-dealer/?dealer-state=CA

Only Carbahn authorized installers can do the install. Carbahn won't even do business with any shops that aren't on their list. And if by some freak accident you get a non-authorized installer to do the work, you will not get the warranty.

Got it. On the video comments someone asked what your mods were and you didn't list it. I was surprised since I know you need it for the warranty.

I did get it done and I don't think that I could be happier. I've now had the car back for a little over a week and there is a significant improvement in performance. It's just plain scary quick now. Definitely more fun to drive!

BimmerSpeed definitely took care of me. While they had the bumper off they took care of a few minor things that were hidden that they could have easily just ignored, but they took the time and corrected the problems. That says a lot to me.

I’m going to give them a call. What’s the turnaround time from drop off to pick up? I have multiple cars but a ballpark timeframe.would help me out. Glad you’re enjoying it! Did you do the stage 1 or 2?

I did the Stage 2 with the Heat Exchanger. I dropped it off on Monday, and picked it up the following Friday, so 11 days total. It's all dependent on shipping the ECU for the most part. Assuming that the Heat Exchanger is in stock of course, otherwise you'll want to wait to start the process until the HE is in stock.

I kind of mentioned my thoughts in a previous post, but to elaborate... I have nothing but good things to say about it. The throttle response is almost too good in Sport+, which is all I ever drive in. It's a smooth powerband with no perceived hard or soft spots, just good solid torque through the entire RPM range. No issues at cruise either. The burbles are louder and maybe last a little longer than stock, but nothing that's super obnoxious. Remote start still works too

I haven't thought to look at the boost pressures while pulling to see what they're doing though. If I remember to take my eyes off the road I'll take a look at that too.
