PPF on frozen color

Hi,

I am considering getting PPF on my frozen colored M4 but am concerned it will change the color. For those that have done it, does clear PPF change it? I am afraid it might make it glossier.

Hey!
You can't use clear gloss ppf as it will make it glossy. You need to use Stealth ppf as it's a matte film. There was a subtle change in color on my Frozen portimao blue metallic but not bad and hardly noticeable. Ppf is a must for frozen paint.

since frozen colors are so hard to maintain I would consider wrapping the complete car to keep the paint safe from harm

If we are going to have to wrap the car in matte ppf anyways, why not save the money and do a reg color and then use the matte ppf?

Getting a full body XPEL Stealth done on my Frozen White G80. Seemed like a no brainer for me. Cost was $5500

Is this fact from Xpel? Has anyone actually done it? Would love to see pics of the difference on frozen.

As mentioned you have to do the matte PPF on frozen. I also did the Xpel stealth on my frozen white for the front of the car and you can't tell a difference on the PPF sections vs non PPF ceramic coated sections. [IMG][/IMG]

Is Xpel stealth still the consensus for the best on frozen colors? Anyone with darker frozen colors have more pictures?

I have a frozen black M4 on its way and want to do PPF.
