Don't hate these screens (don't like them either) but what I hate the most is the absence of physical buttons that seem to be part of any car introducing these big screens. Honestly, I thought the previous setup was the sweet spot between the two.

If I can be honest about this, I have to be honest about getting old.
I stopped watching Transformers after the first movie. Not because of the plot, or the actors, or my lack of interest in Transformers (I grew up watching the orig. cartoon series). It was simply because the graphics were just too busy for my brain to absorb all the details coming in to my eyes. The same with these displays. If there was a setting for VINTAGE 1980 dash (I don't know, like a '84 Mits. Starion), I'd be all over it. I have a hard time chasing the rpm info in these cars, interpolate temperatures numbers base on miniature graphics, and find the odometer (which in most cars is a static reading). And don't get me going with the LC Other than that, this new display looks beautiful!

Yeah, only way for OP to check is likely to see if they can get the augmented reality navigation working. The 2 series AT also has SP21/MGU21 as well and has that.

How does the screen change when you're in M sport or a custom M mode?
Also, any chance you can show what CarPlay looks like? I'm really on the fence with getting a '23 G80, honestly the screen is a lot. It looks amazing, but I'm used to my E90 and now F80 which is analog in almost every way inside. Thanks for the walk through. |

I heard that on the 2023 M3, drive recorder now does 30 seconds before and after, but can only store 8 clips before overwriting compared to 10
