Golf club fitment in the G80?

Hey, quick question. Has anyone gotten their G80 M3 and tried to fit a standard size cart bag and men's clubs sideways in the trunk? I didn't think about this in my F30 335 and was really surprised I had to take my driver out to make them fit. I was really disappointed as I can basically never drive more than one other guy to the course and it's easier to throw our clubs in the back seat. I don't want to throw clubs in the back seat of the new M3 with CF seats. So before I order one, I wanted to see if anyone has tried this. Thanks for the input!

Do you mean placing the golf bag parallel to the bumper? I used to fit two golf bags in the trunk diagonally in my M4; Im guessing the golf bag test would be the same as the G20?

I dont know the answer but Im curious as well lol

Hi.

No G80 M3s have been delivered yet. However, the G80 is based on the G20 and the trunk is shared. So, simply go to a BMW dealership and use any 3 Series to test fit golf cubs. You could also search the G20 forum:

To see if someone has provided this information already.

Standard prodcedure with my f30 and f32 was drivers and occasionally long woods out of bag, insert up to 4 golf bags, then put the drivers and woods in last strait across between the cutouts behind the fenders. I had 4 ppl in my 335 and numerous times 3 ppl in my 335 and 440

My G20 trunk looks to be slightly larger but I imagine the same process will need to take place

Golf clubs in G20 trunk

Here’s 1 small bag with driver in. Drivers out, 2 bags should fit.

will have to placed at an angle or if you want it across you will have to take woods out most likely. But like others have said no-one has cars yet but based off reg 3er thats what will be the case.

hit them straight

Thank you. Yeah the pockets in the sides look larger which should help. I think part of my issue is I have lengthened my clubs 3/4" on my irons and 1" on my driver. It doesn't seem like a lot but when you put them in a large cart bag and try and get2+ in the F30 it really isn't fun!

One bag with driver will fit horizontally when using the trunk's side cutouts.
