I have a CF strut tower brace and painted Estoril Blue engine cover on my F3X 335i N55. Might get the N55 Eventuri CF air intake, if I upgrafe the charge pipe and intercooler. I also have part of the Eventuri E9X S65 CF kit with an IND custom painted V8 Plenum. The thin CF pieces resonate nicely while driving, like an aggressive exhaust.

The F8X S55 engine bay is a tad busy. No room for an intercooler in the front bumper so they piled it on top. The curved CF strut tower is gorgeous, but needed more engine bling to make it complete. You can paint the S55 engine cover for a touch of color.

The new G8X M3/M4 S58 is supposed to have a hybrid engine in there somewhere for an extra kick. Working on that will be a nightmare if it breaks.
Hopefully BMW fixed the crank hub defect. 24+ hours of labor to repair.

Cheers
That's not why they put the heat exchanger where they did. They did that for throttle response.

As a car enthusiast what's the first thing you do at a car show? Pop the hood.
The last thing you want to see is a bunch of plastic and metal braces. I see alot if cost cutting happening here.

....ahhh, so a bunch of parking lot warriors. That explains it.

FWIW, I've rarely ever seen the hood popped on cars unless there's extensive modification under that hood (...or a complete motor swap). Only nerds pop the hood on a stock engine bay.

Then I guess I'm a nerd then, because I pop my hood stock are not. BMW made beautiful engines bays up until this point. Tons of people walk up to my stock M3 to look at the Carbon Fiber strut.

Its called being an enthusiast. It dosent have to be modded to the hilt to be shown off.

I think it’s people’s frustrations with the grilles. They have run out of things to say and must redirect their anger towards any inconsequential aspect of the car they dislike.

Good point! You're probably spot on too.
