I installed mine yesterday and it didn’t come with self tapping screws and I really didn’t want to mess with looking for some or drilling holes on the mud flaps so used 3M tape for the bottom part of the front flaps. Will see how it holds up. I bought mine some time ago, do the fronts come with 3 holes now?

The rear doesn’t need any, the screws provided for it pull it in really good.
Yup. That is what I was referring to.

Let us know how the tape holds up.

As an FYI, these won't fit on a '24 Comp. The rear wheel liner sits about 1 1/2" in from the wheel well edge, and there's no way to mount them flush.

You need to use spacers and longer screws, they don't sit flush on my 23 either.

The '24 Comp's liner is held with hex bolts far inside the wheel well, and as provided, the TLG flaps' extended screws are incompatible to hold the flap flush against the wheel well edge. If it were to be attached as expected, the flap would be pulled and turned in the wheel well in order to be secured. That's not the way it's supposed to fit, not what TLG's instructions show.

Anyone have any recommendations/tips for installing the push pin rivets? I was able to install 3 out of 4 but kept bending the pins when trying to install the last one. I didn’t have any luck tapping any of them in with a hammer. The only way I was able to successfully install three of them was by holding the hammer against the pin and pushing as hard as possible. I’m using an 8oz ball and peen hammer; should I be using a heavier one?

Unfortunately I bent all of the extras that were provided so am currently waiting for the extras to arrive via Amazon.

I just shimmied and spun the rivets on the one that was giving me some difficulty. Took a couple attempts but ending up working.

These flaps definitely do the job!

You could always wrap them, either with black PPF (if such a thing exists) or vinyl and PPF.

I just bought a 24 G80 comp Xdrive. Are you sure the rears won’t fit? I am surprised BMW would have made a change outside of a mid cycle refresh. Thanks.
