anyone had this code before 129002/P0131?

Anybody had this code before and fixed it? I recently installed down pipes to my car, but it’s giving me a code and the check engine light won’t go away even after a tune. I checked my O2 sensors in the engine bay, and they seemed plugged in and fine. Anybody fix this by any chance?

That’s an electrical issue with the pre cat O2 sensor, not an efficiency code that would be suppressed by tuning. Probably wiring problem.

Okay, the car drives fine.. with a bootmod3 stage 2 tune.
What do you think the fix is to remove CEL?

Take a datalog and check your lambda/afr readings on both banks. Would think that one of them will be off. The pre-cat o2 is important so you really need to fix the problem. The code is short circuit to ground so it’s either likely unplugged, a fuse is blown, or something happened to damage the wire.

Okay yeah the car is sitting in my garage until I take it to the mechanic who installed my dps. I’m assuming something went wrong with one of the wires. I remember when installing my downpipes one of the bolts was really close to the inlet pipe. Could have damaged one of the wires? We shall see I guess. Good thing is is that the car drives fine. No limp mode.

Do you know if this code will go away after fixing the wiring etc? Or is it a permanent code?

Permanent codes go away after you fix the issue and complete the required drive cycle so yes it will definitely go away after you fix it and do some driving.

Anyone know what fuse this is? I have the same issue and would like to try this before checking o2 sensors.

Edit, probe 1 bank 1, does anyone know which one this is?
