Just curious if anyone else is concerned with scratching the door sill trim when exiting and entering your car?

It gets beat up with shoe marks, but I'm not worried about it at all.
If anything it should be fairly cheap to replace it.

No.

If it gets too scratched up in a couple years I'm sure it's a $40-50 part you can order from the dealer that can easily be snapped off and snapped on.

My dog puts his front paws there or on the sil itself every time he jumps in the car. It's still perfectly fine.

its a $30 part that comes on and off easily, who cares literally. ppf wont stick to it

Don’t have kids lol mine stand on them and try to 360 off of them when getting out lol They knew better when it was brand new; after 2-3k I stopped caring. Gotta pick your battles; no food allowed.

That's going to get scuffed up at some point, whether its you, or a passenger, or a service tech. Its cheap easy to replace, unlike the door sills.

Hit it all the time getting in and out of my car. It's gonna get scuffed up and there's no point in getting anxiety over it. Just replace it later if it gets beaten up too bad, cheap to replace I'm sure.
