Dreams do come true!

Picked her up @ PCD 11/15/22.

Raining day so made the driving activities more of an adventure.

I've previously never had the opportunity to drive a G80.

Used a 2022 M3C for the driving experiences so it was nice to compare the auto tranny/more horsepower experience as well as the previous cockpit experience to my 2023 M3 6speed.

All of this is personal preference and I will say all of my personal previous vehicles were analogue displays so the leap to digital is a big change for me.

In a nutshell I love the i Drive 8 and I'm very happy that I choose the manual - just a different type of driving engagement that I prefer.

Definitely worth the wait and the anguish. Best of luck to all.

Thanks for the update. Let's hope that the BMW Gods would cooperate just once and we can pick up this week... That would make it a much better Thanksgiving!

My car made it to the dealership (Riverside, CA) today. In case folks are trying to gauge the turnaround time after drop-off at Port Hueneme, that was a Saturday night arrival in port and Wednesday evening delivery to dealer. Delay was much worse at the dispatch end of the trip (from Port Bremerhaven).

I've been at Galveston port since the 18th. At VPC the 19th and officially in transit today! Hopefully see it at the dealership soon!

Took delivery yesterday after a 10 month wait. It has exceeded my expectations. I was wondering how Tanzanite over Tartufo would look like, but happy with the outcome.
