I'm not a fan. I wish the M specific display, i.e., showing the tachometer, could be tied to the M1/M2 buttons and not the overall "m mode." In sport mode, some of the safety settings are disengaged. I literally just want to see the tachometer for 6MT purposes, I don't want safety features disengaged lol.

100% agree. Not sure why they implemented it this way.

This is how it worked in iDrive 6. The display was tied to the presets so you can have any combination you want with all the nannies on (if you want). Sorry to see a step backwards.

They made so many improvements over the f80, i.e., making the shift assist customizable across all throttle maps and then BOOM! "You wanna see the f*cking tach? Well I hope you don't wanna change lanes without looking while you do bro."

I thought only Track mode disabled some safety features. What's disabled in Sport mode?

Sorry don't have my car yet to

The lane departure warning. Someone correct me if that is not the case and please remember I had shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago and haven't driven my 6MT G80 since lol.
