It really is amazing how many people on this forum are in the area. Definitely awesome to see. Looking forward to the next cars and coffee for sure!

Beautiful color choice. Funny how the same reason I dislike Santorini on the f80 is why I like it on the g80. The absence of pearl hides the body lines and the color is still great.

I look at this thread periodically and it makes me ridiculously excited for my own, Yas_sir. Do you ever park, sit down, and just stare at it?

I would do that same thing with the very few Enzian youtube videos I could find. No telling how extra views those guys got because of me.

I was (unfortunately) considering TR because I had a very early build and they wouldn't give me an individual color. There was a video of cars testing on the ring and there was a combined 12 seconds of TR and I watched the f*cking thing 200 x.

There is one YouTube video of a 997 Speedster in Pure Blue that I watched for days on end.

Also an E92 Santorini video I binged watched so much that my two year old son still requests it every now and then.

It's frustrating that depending on the video you watch and pictures you see that Pure, Mexican, Santorini, and Enzian might all look exactly the same depending on the lighting. Certainly doesn't make it any easier to choose between them.

It also essentially means that you can't go wrong with any of them!

I agree though, there can be such minor differences in the blues offered by BMW. The only way to truly see the differences are to have them all lined up and see it in real life (which is near impossible) as any kind of color manipulation done when editing the photos/videos can make one look very close to the other.

I really wish you could've ordered paint samples. I would have easily paid for them to help make my decision, instead of scrutinizing countless instagram pics and youtube videos.

If you live in a high M area like maybe LA you could find them at a dealer who decided to put in some custom orders for dealer inventory, but living in no M Ohio you aren't going to find any.

Agreed - I'd gladly have paid for some samples as well.

Didn't know,I'm Greek and just thought it was interesting and kinda oxymoron

Doesn't look any different than the other blues imho but it's nice and I'm not a blue car kind of guy

I'm more grey/ that matte grey Audi has is the best color imho wish bmw had it for the m340

And good God how didn't the design director fire the team that grill I think I'm looking at alpha Romeo ,I mean I know it's been best to death but with that color contrast it's just even worse I wouldn't buy this car just for that grill alone

M340 is tolerable and I can change it to slits style more traditional
