G82 M4 Comp XDrive Grigio Telesto Pearl

Hi folks,

First of all I am so happy. After two F82, I got my G82 yesterday. I ordered in December and it was planned for May/June delivery. Due to the supply chain problems with wire harnesses from Ukraine, the delivery was postponed to end of June. That happens, it was built week 22, came to my dealer the week after and here it is. I planned to pick it up at BMW Welt but the first possible date would have been end of July.

My last F82 was in Grigio Telesto Pearl too and I loved that color. It is like Dravit without the golden sparkles. And the Pearl is kind of softer than metallic.

The car has many options as I think it is the last of its kind and I want to keep it.

Additionally it gets a ceramic coating, 8mm spacers and KW HAS or the V4. I am not sure yet.

Compared to the F82 this car is a stronger built, more adult, nice electronics. It has grown in every perspective. I love it!

Big congrats to you. Good choice on color. I was also build week 22 and a Dec order for a M3CX in Grigio Telesto Pearl, and am currently waiting for a ship. Same opinion on dravit. It was alot to pay to get rid of that gold flake.

Yes it does but it's very subtle. Makes the finish look like a mirror in shade.

Grey black is another beautiful color. A little darker and less milky than Grigio.

As far as I learned the metallic paint has "flakes" and the pearl paint has "bubbles". These bubbles are much smaller than the flakes and they reflect the light so that the paint slightly changes the brightness (it looks a bit lighter in the dark and darker in the sun, but just a grade) and the shape of the car seem to be softer than with metallic.

I was also thinking about Grey Black but did not find a sample and I like the behavior of the pearl paint.

Just ceramic coated and good point for some new photos. Hard to catch the color as brightness relates if there is sun or shadow...

I've been in love with Grigio Telesto, since I saw it on a Gallardo, Superleggera. Just an amazing color. This was on the short list for me, as far as colors go, but I ended up getting Dravit, after Id seen it in person. And the Gold flake works well with the CCBs. Dravit is definitely Jack of all trades.

Agree, joining the Grigio Telesto club when I take PCD on 8/1. Couldn’t be more excited. Dravit was a close second.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3 colors. Dravit, Gray/ Black or Grigio. Even Nardo.
