Well, no order guides yet. Not sure if the option pricing stays the same.

SOP is September

As much as I hate the G8x whole front end design, this works surprisingly well on the vert. The best of the three bodies imo

It's the same ordering codes as the G80/G82, as I'm tempted to e-mail my sales manger my build tonight. I already had my future build G83 planned out based on the spy photos, knew that carbon fiber seats would be an option, but would rather have the regular M seats with ventilated seats.

TBII with full silverstone, carbon fiber trim, shadow line trim. All options except for the Driving Assistance Professional Package and M Drivers Package. Don't want that ugly off center ACC sensor as top speed is really 165 mph (I have already pinned my F95 comp at 165 mph) and no need for the 1 day M program, as I have done plenty of them already.

You should at least confirm you're on the list if you want one of the first ones.

My sales manager already knows that I was waiting for the G83 for the past year as I didn't accept my '21 F83 order as COVID messed up the options and reminded him when I dropped off my '18 F85 last January prior to my '21 F95 PCD, as I'm a serial 2 BMW every 3 year leaser.

It's also the economics as the G83 market is so much smaller than the G80 market. The G83 will be pushing over $100k. Lists are only for small market dealerships that have limited allocation.

PS the market will not be significant especially with the October launch, which misses the summer driving months for a majority of the country. I can drop the top all 12 months.

This design of m4 convertible is probably the best looking m3/4 convertible ever. And much better than g80 and g82.

I don't think the G80/G82 SOP July MxDrive is delayed, as it's probably a parts supplier issue that has staggered release of the MxDrives. The carbon bucket seats have been causing delays, display panels chips, HK stereo has been affected, and who knows about the fabric roof if that is delayed by the OEM supplier for the G83.

BMW is killing it lately. Immediately got 3 texts from customers ready to order. It does look good though...

As I said before I like Bugs Bunny front. 4 Series looks good, M4 even better and the convertible looks awesome too. 4 Series is the best looking BMW in years. Such a distinctive car.

BMW already put out a press release for the xDrives that said market launch in August, meaning a July SOP. The G83 was not officially announced before today. Its date only changed from the date being posted on here. Not really "officially" slipping.

Short answer…the M3/M4 xDrives should still be set for a July SOP

Neck Warmer?

Just noticed that the neck warmer isn't mentioned as an option, but it is in the 4 series. Mistake, or really not available?

Removing the roof makes all of the incongruous body lines more visible, especially the sculpted lines over the hips. This will take some getting used to. Over styled imho

Snow? Convertible? Huh? Now I finally know what the guy from the initial G8X release video was screaming about.

Hopefully it's a mistake as the carbon fiber bucket seats would not have the neck warmer, but the F83 had the 4 series seats, unlike G83 which is sharing both seat options from the G80/G82.

So I assume this means that the AWD auto is the only drive and transmission option for the convert?
