G83 Order Placed!

My dealer had an allocation and called me on Friday. The order has been placed (I'll get the actual production/order number in the next day or so to track). Currently estimating a 3 month delivery time. Now the countdown begins!

What build week are you? You can call BMW Genius to get the week with your production number, if you don't have it.

I don't have the production number back yet. They submitted the vehicle inquiry report about an hour ago. I'm waiting back for the production number to come back to me.

Hmmm. I hope you are right. Typically if they actually have an allocation and you place an order you will get a production number on the spot.

I just emailed them to ask for it. They are a big dealership and I have a long history with them and the salesperson. They have the allocations.

Bill Jacobs is the dealer I waited for an allocation from 3/26/21 until I finally pulled the plug and asked for my deposit back 2 weeks ago.

Communicative but bumped me from #1 to #10 once allocations became flexible.

Glad they came through for you.
