The first picture is ProClip USA. I purchased the MagSafe charger that was on the ProClip site but the holder was a Sosche. I was able to return the holder but you can’t return the mount once you screw into it.

I see I haven't used the magsafe chargers. Do they work with cases and are they able to withstand spirited driving?

That's why I didn't recognize that proclip. Thought it said magic counter on it.

Everyone's got different needs haha. The inside of my car looks like a police vehicle with all my cables, mounts, and dash cams.

You need to buy a case that is MagSafe compatible. I’ve driven 1200 miles with a MagSafe charger and never had it fall off or move even during very spirited driving.

I don’t like wires hanging so my dash cam, radar detector and phone charger wires are all hidden.

The only difference in my car is that I had to route the cord to the center console USB port, since there's not a port in the back seat like there is in the G80.

And for those members who may not fully understand others' needs, I run the V1Driver app on my phone to enhance my Valentine radar detector's functionality.
I picked up the Belkin mag charger based on this thread. Really think this is the best vent clip available. One question though. How are you guys securing the charging cable? I don’t think you can tuck under the plastic console so how are you keeping the cable flush to the seams?

That's exactly what we've done.

You'll see from the pics how we tuck-in the cable and run it toward the front of the car. We then ran in back towards the rear, tucked in between the carpet and the center console. I bring mine up at the passenger backrest and into the center storage compartment where I plug it into the USB port.

Don’t know why I was trying to pull the plastic back with my fingers vs jamming the cord underneath but the later worked seamlessly. Thx!

I can’t add a separate cable to this one as the wire is integrated but I ran it along the side and had enough slack to plug into the glove box. I like it. The magnet is strong and it sits away from all the controls. 👍
Which one is this? Are you still happy with the setup? Thanks!

It’s the Belkin vent mount. Yes. This is the best setup I’ve found for this platform.

If anyone needs the ProClip vent mount I’ll sell you mine for 20 plus shipping. I felt it stuck out too far. It does have mount holes so was not returnable😔 I covered the adhesive with wax paper so it stays sticky.
