Maybe I’m misreading your post but if you have a valve controller and keep it in C all the time, why even have it? What am I missing?

I occasionally like opening them up with option A. And like having the option to completely close them with option B. But I mostly leave it in C. Especially because cold start will automatically have valves closed. I have it wired to my homelink mirror buttons so switching back and forth is seamless.

I did mine today and drove it momentarily. I didn't notice a change on sound with sport plus, actually a few more burbles but I think it is my imagination.

I think they have been doing releases in March, July, and November. Not sure it will remain that way but that’s the way it’s been for my BMW’s since 2022 in the US. Sometimes it will take 3 months for your car to pickup the update. I’m still on 7.2023 but my former M4 was on 11.2023.

The update failed for me. BMW roadside assistance had to come and tow the vehicle to service center as they were not able to help remotely. Three days later I have a new cluster. Newest version installed, no difference noticed.

Yeah I try to make it a habit to re-do M1/M2 and Remote Start after upgrades. They seem to always reset. I thought Auto Start/Stop and Exhaust did too but seems like it didn't this time.
