It’s just not basic.

Some people like everything to be the same (big grille haters/carbon bucket haters).

Not to mention I have never in public, or at car shows heard a negative word said about the buckets.

Mf’s love em.

Only exception are women, they don’t like the bump since they can’t cross their legs…

I love all the haters who complain about the big grille, when all I get is constant praise for it in public.

Yeah, i never tried them so im on the fence. Looks wise they dont look nice (to me) but they fit the car overall style, yet if the functionality is compromised or not I would not comment. I dont know.

Oh it 100% is, don't let anyone kid you. Now, if you can live with that, more power to you. But there are absolutely compromises needed to live with the buckets.

In any event, this is a great collection of color choices. Nice job to the person who picked them out (whom I shall not tag since he hasn't let himself be known).

Hey. I have gotten praise for the grill too. Doesn’t mean I like it. After 2 years, I still wished it had the M8 comp front end, but the rest of the car is so good I just overlook the grill.

Yeah, i'm not talking about people like you who are reasonable in their opinion. I'm talking about people who go out of their way to spread their vitriol about how horrid the grille is, as if BMW somehow owed them something from the vehicle and they've now been personally affronted.

Yes, having an opinion is one thing. I'm not asking anyone to like it. But making it your life's mission to inform as many people as possible that you don't like something says way more about you as a person than it does about that thing.

Agreed. BTW, your statement about people making it their life mission to tell everyone how much they don’t like something rings absolutely true. There are a lot of those people out there.

I think the brown is great. My problem is the spoiler on that coupe is hideous.

IMHO, Rossa Corsa with a brown interior is a classier and richer combination than having good old plain black.

Different strokes for different folks!

I really love Riviera Blue but it is a shame that BMW doesn't still offer Yas Marina Blue which was a really popular M color in their current Individual offerings.

I wonder if there a reason which would explain why they have dropped this fabulous color?

Yas Marina was popular in the same way IOM green is popular, it’s a launch color. Sometimes the stop offering them (see: Laguna Seca Blue, Silverstone, etc).

I know everyone has their own tastes; however I don’t think the current M3/M4 styling comes close to the beauty of an E46 M3. They were gorgeous in Phoenix Yellow.

The beauty of Yas Marina Blue was the way this color would change shades depending on the lighting. IMHO, it looked totally different at night.
