You really can’t stand the center hump?

Like what about it?

I truly can’t comprehend the criticism of it.

Yes to sepia brown, yes to stock cars. Discounts can be had on stock cars, don’t expect to order something like speed yellow over fjord blue buckets and get a massive discount though.

That was me! I still have pics of her too. I think I was only the one on E46Fanatics with that combo. That same car was one of the first with the blown motor/ecu issues. BMW replaced my motor without issue (…see below).

Great pics, love the M8 GC’s. Wish the M3/M4 had the snout and dash of the 8…haven’t warmed up to the big grille and hate the new iPad/touch screens. ☹️

Just shitty design language behind it and perceived reduced comfort traded for aggressive looks? May be that, i dunno. People dont want to sit on some dudes crotch lol, which is what this seat cushion looks like. Come on, you know this.

I think this depends on the size/shape of your legs. For me it hits the sides of my hamstrings and is in the way when driving. (Both manual and auto, regular driving, dead pedal, heel and toe etc.)

I’m 6 feet tall and ~185pds, a former track sprinter and competitive cyclist so my legs are pretty muscular compared to the average person so that’s part of it too I’m sure.

The bigger issue for me is the sides of the carbon buckets and getting in and out of the seat in tight spots. Especially with the long doors of the M4…The standard seats look great, are really comfortable and can be made to work on the the track with the seatbelt trick. (though obviously not as good on track as the carbon buckets)

Hope that helps.

Crazy, I’m 6’2 230 average gym goer and haven’t ever been able to comprehend the negative sentiment.

I know for sure that my body type is the absolute limit for these seats but in 30k miles I’ve never once thought-

“shoulda got the sport seats😞”

You must have some serious thighs😂

Also have you attempted to get into an m3 with buckets? It’s a joke

The long doors on our cars actually make it dramatically easier since the door hole is so wide you have more maneuverability.

I’m sure you don’t care but something to think about:

I have my seat memory buttons preset to:

#1: ingress/egress-all the way leaned back so you can fall In easily

#2: drive mode- seat is in position before the high idle is even over.

^this make a world of difference

It's funny this was posted by a person named "Fugly M3." LOL That's pretty ironic all in itself. No matter what shade or color of M3 is ever presented to the public, the front end will alway be considered well... not exactly pretty. Nice to see some rare individual colors though. I think this simply shows & confirms one thing is constant, all the face makeup in the world still can't mask that fugly front buck tooth grill...

I just embrace the ugly. Nearly all the BMWs are ugly now, might as well embrace it.

I mean in tighter parking spaces where you can’t open the door as wide as usual.
